Who we are
Tier One Fire Protection is an independently owned and operated fire protection company. We are a leading provider of comprehensive fire protection solutions, including fire suppression systems, fire detection systems, fire system testing and maintenance, and passive fire services across the ACT and surrounding regions.
With extensive experience across various industries - such as commercial properties, hotels, schools, strata buildings, warehouses, and local and state government facilities - we are equipped to handle projects of any size, from small shop fit-outs to large high-rise developments.
Our story
Tier One Fire Protection Pty Ltd was founded in 2020 by Mark Hallam and Stephen Gmizic, both licensed sprinkler fitters with a shared vision to make a lasting impact on the fire protection industry. After years of subcontracting for other companies, Mark and Stephen decided to establish their own business, aiming to deliver exceptional fire protection services across the ACT and surrounding regions.
Launching a new business during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic was no easy feat, but their dedication and hard work kept the business moving forward. In May 2021, Tier One Fire Protection secured its first major project, proving its ability to successfully manage large-scale projects.
Since then, we've completed numerous projects, both large and small, and earned a reputation as a trusted provider of comprehensive fire protection solutions, across many industries. Our commitment to excellence has not only positioned Tier One Fire Protection as a leader in the field but has also enabled us to expand our team to over 20 dedicated professionals.
